- In the magnificent setting of Laion, a small municipality located at an altitude of 1,100 metres, we are selling the project for a villa with land. The building is nestled on one of the wide meadows just north-east of the village, where the view of the mountains and the horizon is accompanied only by a few distant trees. Access is via a private driveway approximately 50 metres long. The shape of the house is the result of the composition of simple, adjoining pent roofs, similar to rural outbuildings. The different heights adapt to the natural terrain. On the roof of the parking spaces, approximately 50 m² of photovoltaic panels can make a significant contribution to the building’s energy requirements and to the charging stations for electric vehicles. The remaining areas of the roof will be covered with extensive greenery. The general configuration of the openings, which are always protected by loggias and absent on the north side, allows for significant heat gain in winter, when the sun is low, and important protection from solar overheating in summer. The planned connection to the Laion district heating network allows for the convenient use of local biomass, and the design of the building as a CasaClima A translates into a sustainable and resource-efficient construction method.
