In the west of South Tyrol lies the sun-drenched Vinschgau, a small, wide valley that stretches from the border triangle at the Reschen Pass to the Merano valley basin. The landscape could hardly be more diverse - apple orchards, apricot trees, mountain farming and vegetable cultivation, rugged peaks and glaciated three-thousand-metre peaks.
In a panoramic position on the slopes of the municipality of Kastelbell-Tschars, situated at an altitude of 1,100 m above sea level, is the enclosed mountain farm.
Due to its unique location on the northern slope, the mountain farm offers a magnificent view on the Schnals Valley, the surrounding mountain world and all the way up to the upper Vinschgau Valley and Burggrafenamt.
The farm was completely rebuilt in 2005 in a modern wooden construction and is accessible all year round via a well-maintained and asphalted road.
The property consists of a residential house, an old building (stone cellar), a mill, a farm building with stable and barn, as well as covered storage areas and agricultural machinery rooms.
